Thank you for praying for me - my travel to Orlando from Detroit went smoothly on Tuesday!

I got to DTW around 7:30am, and arrived at my hotel in Orlando around 4pm, so it was a long, tiring day of travel, but I'm grateful things went smoothly overall, and I got to my destination safely. Multiple times during the day, I reminded myself that I have MUCH longer flights ahead of me next month!
Once at the hotel, I was able to get some dinner (I'll admit, I took a quick dip in the pool while waiting for my food to be ready!), then got to listen in on the first night of our small group back home via speakerphone. I was bummed to miss the first meeting of the school year, but I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to get here the day before the sessions started so I could actually get a good night's sleep before the busy week, as opposed to scrambling to get here today and rushing right into sessions.
This morning, I was able to meet with the CEO of SEND US and discuss material for our presentation tomorrow, as well as developments with The Sending Collective (an initiative of SEND that I am working with). Througout the day, I've attended a session on supporting the longevity of member care providers, networked with other missions agencies, and squeezed in some "normal work" on my computer in between.

During the networking time this evening, I was able to talk with a woman who works for a group of field partners in Egypt and the Middle East who plant churches, and they are looking for organizations in the US to partner with! This is EXACTLY what I'm looking to do through The Sending Collective, so it was incredibly exciting to talk with her about how we could collaborate in the future to send more missionaries to her fields.
Other highlights from networking today include: reconnecting with Sadie from Gospel Mobilization (she was at the booth across from me last year, so it was nice to catch up with her again); meeting Andrew from Shepherd's Staff and planning to discuss further how we can collaborate in helping churches send well; getting to connect with my friend Randy who now works for Serge (a missions agency similar in size to SEND US) and planning to discuss how we can continue to collaborate (he has also agreed to be a "dummy client" for me to figure out where our contracted services process needs work); and folks from ILI who I will be looking to discuss further with about how they could be an additional partner in training our missionaries.
Prayer Requests:
Please pray for our presentation tomorrow morning, and the networking meeting afterward.
Pray I won't be stressed by having to rely on others to handle their parts of the presentation well.
Pray that I stay healthy as I interact with a LOT of different people here who have just travelled from all over the place.
Thank you again for joining in on the ministry God has for me this fall!
