Kristle's Ministry Blog

Kristle has been with the SEND US Office since January of 2018, and has worked as a Member Care Coach, helping train and advise missionaries as they work to get to the field. She has also worked with an initiative of SEND US called The Sending Collective since August of 2024, which works to expand how missionaries can be sent and strives to connect with on-field partners, as well as other US-based sending organizations and churches. https://www.send.org/give/missionaries/Rice

Sickness and Preparation

A couple days after returning from Florida, I unfortunately ended up with a cold. I had taken the Monday after returning off in order to get some rest from my travel day, then had the opportunity to meet up with a couple of my missionaries who were in town on Tuesday. While I managed to still get in some video calls on Wednesday and Thursday, I mostly tried to rest and recuperate in order to be healthy as quickly as possible. By Friday morning, I had turned a corner, but am still dealing with some lingering sinus pain and congestion. Please pray that my health continues to improve this week, so when I head to Alaska on Saturday, I'm ready for the work ahead of me!
